Mind

I’m not sure of the order of this anymore.
There was an impending awards show that was supposedly today at 3:00, and I spent the whole time wondering whether it was a dream or real so I could plan my day accordingly. The awards had something to do with math or babysitting. Everyone was running around school (although it was evening), getting ready for the award ceremony. Alexa wore a dress that looked like a grown up version of one of those disney character dresses you can buy for five year olds. I was going to go home to get my gold metal coat that would go with my dress and Ella’s mom stopped me to tell me to make sure it wasn’t at her house. I remember at one point I was sitting next to Tim and I was in the way of something he had to do. I didn’t realize it until he was practically squishing me out of the way. I offered to move, but he put his arm around me and got on my lap instead. He was acting kind of drunk and I was confused about whether he wanted me to move or not.
etc.
Dream from two nights ago:
Lara and Emma both gave me some pot. It was really nice of them and we were all laughing, but I was unsure about whether I wanted it or not.
Joel was selling pot to his parents. When I realized what was going on I was shocked and I asked Chuck about it. He explained to me why it was a good idea. It had something to do with cigarettes.
I was trying to save people from drowning. The water was icy and covered with broken ice. I seem to remember being the only one in the water.
I showed up at a party, I think with Joel. I was pleased when I walked in and saw Matt there. I don’t remember what happened at most of the party- partypartypartyetc.- by the end there were only three people there; Matt, me and someone else moving around in the background. Matt and I were sitting on the couch and all the lights were off and we were really tired and sort of laying down. We were both about to leave and I wasn’t sure what was going to happen. I gave him a hug, and then he said “I love you so much.” I was shocked. He kissed me. I woke up.
Dream from three nights ago:
I’ve been having these dreams about being drunk, or not wanting to get drunk but drinking anyway, and having to worry about hiding people from parents and sobering up and having to drive home and it’s been a bit stressful. In this dream I think I had sex with Sandra Oh from Grey’s Anatomy.

That’s all I can remember.
It was me

My dad asked me to give him my school book money so he could buy weed.
Patricia and Rebecca Armitage were one and the same.
I wanted to apply for a job at a mexican restaurant called “Cowboys.”
I woke up to the end of “God Only Knows” on the radio, which made me smile, but not as much as the guy saying “somebody needed to hear that song this morning. I don’t know, I guess I have this psychic ability.”
the trampoline and sequins on the floor

It was very vivid; Emma was pregnant. I was visiting her apartment with a shitload of other people. She was pregnant in a very Emma-ish way.. her attitude towards it, I mean. For some reason I felt like I shouldn’t ask who the father was. It wasn’t important. She had also apparently been dating a girl, who she had just broken up with. She was very far along. Like seven months. It was insane. Pregnancy is amazing. I think Joe Reynolds and Skylar were also in the dream. Her apartment was mostly the same though the floor was wood and had sequins on it. Glued down and regularly spread out.
Master of Humanity

I was in a class called “People Skills” which was basically my stats class. The teacher gave a brief overview of the subject. Then he asked, “Now, which of you are already basically masters of humanity?” A lot of people raised their hands, but put them back down really quickly, and the only two peoples’ hands which were still up were Theora and Alexa.
I was doing the waltz to “Save Me.” That’s the second time I’ve dreamed myself into the play.
Kirk said “So, Roxanne, you and Tim… dating?” Roxanne said “No, Tim and Cynthia.”

never meant to be part of the future

It’s all fuzzy.
I was propelled into the future. I was lost in a city that varied between Seattle and Berlin. There were subways and everything and a seven-story restaurant that served homeless people for free where I went to eat with Adam Foley.
Then all the homeless men seemed really frightening and began asking Adam for money and hitting on me.
I accidently stole a book which I read occasionally throughout the dream and discussed with Rose.
Then I was escaping from a building with my dad in a jeep. He drove out of ditches and off the roof and we river rafted past Vanessa and he said “Only a parent could drive like this.”
I was alone and lost in the city again, it was Germany and there was an oppressive regime and it was very dangerous.
I knew it was the future because my sister and I were both wearing the same jeans we wear now, but they were much more disintegrated.
The last thing I remember was being in a public bathroom. The men’s room was called something like “German Lessons” and the women’s was called “French Lessons.” The lighting was pink and I was looking at myself in the mirror. I looked about three years older.

There was a Two Gallants concert at the Grange which was at the Kitsap Mall which was in Boston. I met you all there after (purposely) getting in an insane, insane car wreck.
not before I stretch them

I was at school really late at night; It was really important and there were lots of people there. The business got taken care of and then I was driving home– I was also driving Beau home because apparently he was sleeping at my house because he had to go somewhere early in the morning, and it would be really convenient. I thought how strange it was that my mom was allowing this.
On the way home we passed many pedestrians which was very strange for the time of night. We then passed a boy with enormous glowing green cat eyes riding a horse. The horse had a bumpersticker with a phone number on it. I started to get really creeped out. We arrived home, and once there I nonchalantly called the phone number which I remembered off the bumper sticker. I reached an answering machine with a woman saying
“Yes, it’s okay, that’s just my son Tommy riding his horse at night because bla bla bla bla bla bla.”
Later, I was at school in the wagon wheel about to leave when I saw Beau running across it wearing my pants (the disintegrating jeans). I yelled something about him giving them back and he said “Sure… but not before I stretch them out!”

I was sitting in a room when I heard a frog croaking. “Try turning off the light,” said the unidentified other person in the room. The center light was flickering. I turned it off but the frog croaking continued; it really did seem like it was coming from the light. I walked up to it. Sure enough, there was a frog stuck in the lightbulb. “How the hell did it get in there,” I wondered; it was almost big enough to fill the lightbulb. “It’s probably dead by now,” I thought, but then it croaked again. I looked up again; now the lightbulb was filling up with foam. Suddenly I reached up and grabbed the lightbulb. I broke it on the floor and out came this frog encased in foam. I began to wipe away the foam frantically, this frog didn’t look good. When the foam was gone the frog appeared to be covered in more slimy yellow waxy foam. It still couldn’t breathe. I frantically chipped away at this foam around the frog’s mouth so that it could breathe, but boy this frog was weak. It was on the brink of death. I reached down to give the frog CPR. Miraculously, it took the breath and began to recover. It stood up and started breathing on it’s own. Then it hopped away.
Damnwright I saved the life of that frog.
